After a year and five months away from my family, I’m finally home for the holidays. Despite my time back in Wales almost up, being home for Christmas day and New years eve was amazing. Gone was the depressing lull of last year, replaced with the happy cheer that came with being reunited and safe with the people you love. As many of you know, my boyfriend Chad surprised me and came home with me to Wales for the holiday, the best gift I could by far have ever hoped for.
Being home for the holidays was just been the break I needed, and I have had a wonderful time reconnecting with my family and friends, catching up and stuffing our faces with food. Being back in Wales has raised many questions, forcing me to take another look at my life and ask myself some important questions.
With the last of the christmas decorations getting tucked away for hibernation, ready for the winer season, I thought I would share with you some snaps of merriment, staring off with a picture of my grandparents looking pretty excited about their christmas presents.
Disclaimer: Being from Wales, the sun was on holiday apparently and refused to show, so I applogise for the somewhat dark (or as I like to think of them, cozy) vibes of the following photographs.
and to end off what had been such an amazing couple of days, a warm cup of black tea to sooth the soul and relax the body. I hope you all had an equally amazing christmas and days that followed.
