Hey Guys, and welcome to the third? Life’s A Cup Of Tea section. I really like doing these posts and reminding myself of all the cool things I’ve done in the week. It’s a lot more therapeutic than I realised, so expect many more posts like this in the future.
MONDAY, MAY 15th – SUNDAY, MAY 21st
*Finished a notebook for the first time ever. Seriously, I know this sounds strange, but I’ve spent my life bouncing from notebook to notebook! But I’ve finally invested in a brand I love. I ended up choosing the Midori MD paper and invested in a cute little sleeve that I decorated with stickers. This way, all I have to do is change out the book whenever I’ve done and it doesn’t loose that personal touch.
*I got back into the swing of blogging this week, which is something I am very happy about. While I really needed the break, it does feel good to press that upload button when you’ve finished editing a piece and adding all the images.
*I sold my first item on my Etsy! Granted it was to a friend back home, but I’m so happy he was my first customer and I really hope my shop begins to pick up soon because I just love making things.
*Started packing up our home. With little over two months left in Japan, it’s time to start packing up our lives into boxes and selling the stuff we don’t want. I’ve already managed to get rid of two bags filled with clothes and I’m really enjoying my simplifies wardrobe. That being said, I do lack some work appropriate clothes, so I think a visit to H&M will be in order when I go to Tokyo next week.
*Getting back into Instagram. This is another thing I took a rather long break on, but am glad I’m back into. If you guys have any good hashtags you want to share with me, I would really appreciate the help.
*And last but absolutely not least, I got to watch my friends Evan and Miwa get married yesterday. It was a beautiful Japanese style wedding with a few American twists. The both of them looked positively stunning in both their Japanese Kimono and Hakama and their western style suit and dress. I wish you both all the happiness in the world. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day.
That’s it for my week! What have you been up to this week, anything exciting? Don’t hesitate to drop a comment in the section below.
