Good morning my lovelies, how are you doing?
Today I thought I would slow the pace down by talking about some of the bloggers that always relax my mind. With Sunday worthy posts and beautiful calming layouts, these bloggers really know how to tuck you in with a cup of tea and some smooth writing.
Belong to Carrie, One Pleasant Day is probably my favourite blog on the internet right now. With a warm comforting colour palette that wraps you up in all things Autumn, Carrie blogs about simplifying life. She also takes the most beautiful photographs for her blog and instagram. Looking at them always relaxes me after a particularly stressful day. So make a cup of tea, put on some autumnal ambient sounds and go check out One Pleasant Day.
Where do I begin with this blog? In such a small space of the internet, Hannah has managed to create a safe and calming space filled with images of her beautiful hometown of Cornwall and lovely writing. As someone who has never been lucky enough to have visited Cornwall, I just eat up her stunning photography. I think it’s about time I get down there and explore Cornwall for myself.
Stunning photography that ignites the soul. I don’t know what else to say. Mainly a photography blog, this stunning corner of the internet does not lose anything from few words. Despite feeling a twinge of jealousy whenever I visit this lovely blog, I can’t help but put it aside to fall in love with the dreamlike world she has created.
There is no way I could make a list of blogs I love without mentioning the wonderful Love From Berlin. Even before I began to write for this website I was a huge fan of Rae’s work and would check it at least twice a day for updates. With a myriad of interesting topics to distract you from the world and beautiful photography, Love From Berlin is the perfect place to escape the world for a while.
Another Cornish blogger, Sarah has been a favourite of mine for years. More of a journalistic blog, Sarah give us a sneak peek into the life she leads; the good and the bad. An aspiring wedding photographer means her blog is also filled to the brim with pictures that paint the picture of a fairy tale. I am convinced she could take a picture of the most horrid corner of the world and make it seem fantastic. While most people curate their online life until it is beyond relatable, Sarah is transparent and honest with her readers; a quality I just adore.
Here is another blog I have been following for a while now. With a soft colour palette that reminds you of a cosy Sunday morning tucked away in bed, this blog will sure to entice you. With posts from watercolour to tutorials to advice on how to handle social anxiety, The Wonder Forest is a safe space for all to relax. So why not make a cup of tea and enjoy a nice gander through this rose-like blog.
I hope you all enjoyed this blog. I feel that recently the blogging community has had some setbacks. I’ve begun to notice a pattern in putting others down and in all honesty, it breaks my heart. Because of this, I decided to write this post and bring some love to some blogs that cheer me up when life gets me down. So why not make yourself a cuppa and have a gander through the wonderful worlds these fantastic ladies have created.
