While looking through my Canada photographs, I came across a few from the well loved Highlevel Diner in Edmonton. I just can’t resist sharing these photos with you. As a lover of cafes, finding new ones are a hobby.
Also, can we just appreciate how beautiful my future mother-in-law looks in this picture? Seriously, I wish I could look so cute when drinking tea, and not the grumpy, brooding, trying-to-be-poetic human I am.
With eyes bigger than our stomachs, we ordered more food than we should have. We still pretty much ate it all. It would have been such a crime to leave so much delicious food abandoned and unwanted in this small corner cafe. Unable to choose between their deliciously sounding Lemon and Poppy Seed pancakes and their famous Cinnamon bun, I decided to get both and Chad would share the latter with me. As you can see from the images below, however, ‘bun’ is a rather deceiving word. Cinnamon loaf would have been more appropriate.
I couldn’t recommend this place enough and will be going back for sure when I visit this summer. To find out more about the Diner, head over to their website >> The Highlevel Diner << and do a little bit of investigating.
