It’s quick to make, totally satisfying, and sure to become a go-to favorite!

Ingredients

Scale

For the shrimp:

  • 1 lb medium shrimp, peeled and deveined

  • 1 tbsp olive oil

  • Salt and pepper to taste

  • ½ tsp paprika

  • ½ tsp garlic powder

For the sauce:

  • ½ cup mayonnaise

  • ¼ cup sweet chili sauce

  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 tbsp lime juice

For the pasta:

  • 12 oz spaghetti or linguine

  • Water for boiling

  • Salt for pasta water

Optional Garnish:

  • Chopped green onions

  • Crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

1️⃣ Cook the pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

2️⃣ Prepare the sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, minced garlic, and lime juice until smooth and creamy. Set aside.

3️⃣ Cook the shrimp: Season the shrimp with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and cooked through. Remove from heat.

4️⃣ Combine pasta and sauce: In the same skillet, reduce heat to low. Add the cooked pasta and pour in the sauce. Toss well to coat evenly.

5️⃣ Add shrimp: Add the cooked shrimp to the pasta and gently mix.

6️⃣ Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with chopped green onions and a pinch of red pepper flakes if desired. Serve immediately for the boldest flavor.

Notes

  • Adjust the spice: Control the heat by adjusting the amount of sriracha—start with less if you’re spice-sensitive and add more for extra kick.

  • Use fresh shrimp: For the best flavor and texture, use fresh or thawed shrimp, and be sure not to overcook them to keep them juicy and tender.

  • Sauce too thick?: If the sauce feels too thick after combining with pasta, add a splash of reserved pasta water to loosen it up and help coat the noodles evenly.
