Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites

  • Author: Christine

Description

Cinnamon Sugar Biscuit Bites are a quick, delicious treat perfect for breakfast, snacks, or dessert. Made with canned biscuits, these bite-sized goodies are coated in a cinnamon-sugar mixture and baked to golden perfection. The buttery, crispy exterior and soft, fluffy interior create a delightful contrast of textures, while a sweet vanilla glaze adds the perfect finishing touch. Best of all, they’re simple enough to make in less than 30 minutes and can be customized with a variety of flavors.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small roll of canned biscuits
  • ¼ cup sugar (mix of white and brown sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 12 tablespoons butter, melted
  • ¼ cup powdered sugar
  • 12 teaspoons milk
  • ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Place 1-2 tablespoons of butter in a baking pan and melt in the preheating oven.
  2. Prepare the Biscuit Pieces:
Open the can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters.
  3. Coat with Cinnamon-Sugar:
In a resealable plastic bag, mix together ¼ cup of white and brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of cinnamon. Add the quartered biscuits to the bag, seal it, and shake until the biscuit pieces are evenly coated.
  4. Arrange in the Pan:
Place the coated biscuit pieces in a single layer in the pan with the melted butter.
  5. Bake:
Bake for 15 minutes or until the biscuit bites turn golden brown and crispy on the edges.
  6. Prepare the Glaze:
While the bites are baking, whisk together ¼ cup powdered sugar, 1-2 teaspoons milk, and ⅛ teaspoon vanilla extract until smooth. Adjust the consistency by adding more milk for a thinner glaze or more powdered sugar for a thicker one.
  7. Drizzle the Icing:
Once the biscuit bites are done, cool for 2 minutes, then drizzle the glaze over them. Serve warm for the best texture, or at room temperature.

Notes

  • Storage: Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to two days. Reheat in a 350°F oven for 5 minutes to refresh the texture.
  • Customization: Feel free to add extra spices like nutmeg or cardamom for a flavor twist, or mix in chocolate chips or chopped nuts for added texture.
  • Freezing: To freeze, bake and glaze the bites, let them cool completely, and freeze them in a single layer before transferring them to a freezer-safe container. Reheat in the oven before serving.
