Ingredients
For the scallops:

1 ½ pounds sea scallops

Salt and pepper to taste

1 tbsp lemon juice

2 tbsp dry white wine (optional)
For the garlic butter sauce:

4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted

3 garlic cloves, minced

½ tsp paprika

¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese

2 tbsp breadcrumbs (optional for a crisp top)

1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat oven: Set your oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line it with parchment paper.
2️⃣ Prepare scallops: Pat the scallops dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and white wine (if using). Arrange them in a single layer in the prepared baking dish.
3️⃣ Make garlic butter sauce: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter with minced garlic, paprika, and Parmesan cheese. Stir well to combine.
4️⃣ Assemble: Spoon the garlic butter mixture evenly over the scallops. Sprinkle breadcrumbs on top if using.
5️⃣ Bake: Place the dish in the oven and bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the scallops are opaque and slightly golden on top.
6️⃣ Garnish and serve: Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve with lemon wedges.
