- 8 oz pasta (penne or rotini preferred)
- 4 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh basil, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the Pasta
- Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water for the sauce.
- Prepare the Chicken
- Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté garlic until fragrant, then add cubed chicken. Cook until golden and fully cooked (internal temperature: 165°F). Set aside.
- Make the Sauce
- In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter. Gradually stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Cook until the sauce thickens. Season with salt and pepper.
- Combine
- Toss the cooked pasta into the sauce. Fold in the chicken bites. If needed, adjust the sauce with reserved pasta water.
- Garnish and Serve
- Garnish with freshly chopped basil and extra Parmesan cheese. Serve hot.
