Description
These juicy grilled chicken bites are boldly seasoned and finished in a rich, garlicky cream sauce that’s hard to resist. Perfect as a hearty appetizer or main dish served with rice, pasta, or a fresh salad.
Ingredients
For the chicken bites:
- 1 ½ pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon dried oregano
For the creamy garlic sauce:
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
1️⃣ Preheat the grill: Set your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
2️⃣ Season the chicken: In a large bowl, combine chicken pieces with olive oil, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, and oregano. Toss well to coat evenly.
3️⃣ Skewer the chicken: Thread the chicken onto skewers. (If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes to prevent burning.)
4️⃣ Grill the chicken: Cook on the grill for 5–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and slightly charred. Remove from heat and set aside.
5️⃣ Make the sauce: In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
6️⃣ Add cream and cheese: Pour in the heavy cream and stir. Bring to a gentle simmer, then whisk in Parmesan, salt, and pepper. Cook for 3–4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
7️⃣ Combine: Add grilled chicken bites into the skillet and toss to coat in the creamy sauce.
8️⃣ Garnish and serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.
