Ingredients
- 1 ½ lbs (680g) sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp unsalted butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
1️⃣ Season the steak:
In a large bowl, toss the steak cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.
2️⃣ Preheat the air fryer:
Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 3 minutes.
3️⃣ Air fry the steak bites:
Place the steak cubes in a single layer in the air fryer basket (work in batches if needed). Cook for 6-8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through for even cooking.
4️⃣ Prepare the garlic butter:
While the steak cooks, melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
5️⃣ Toss in garlic butter:
Transfer the cooked steak bites to a bowl and pour the garlic butter over them. Toss gently to coat.
6️⃣ Garnish and serve:
Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately with lemon wedges if desired.
Notes
-
Ribeye or New York strip also work great for extra tenderness.
-
Add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a spicy kick.
