Ingredients
Ingredients:
- 1 tube refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1 cup apple pie filling, chopped into small pieces
- 8 soft caramel candies
- 2 tbsp melted butter
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
For the glaze:
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tbsp milk
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle on a clean surface.
Spoon a small amount of apple pie filling into the center of each biscuit and place one caramel candy on top.
Fold the edges of the dough over the filling and pinch tightly to seal. Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
Brush each bomb with melted butter.
In a small bowl, mix granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle over the bombs.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
While the bombs are baking, mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make a glaze.
Drizzle the glaze over the warm apple caramel bombs and serve.
Notes
-
Use cold biscuit dough for easier handling and better sealing.
-
Don’t overfill—the key to gooey centers without leaks is balance.
-
Glaze while warm so it absorbs slightly and sets with a smooth finish.
-
Store leftovers in an airtight container and reheat in the oven for best results.
-
Try adding cream cheese, nuts, or flavored glazes for creative variations.
-
Pair with cider or coffee for a comforting fall moment.
