Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 Chicken Breasts, grilled
  • 4 Leaf Lettuce Leaves
  • 1 cup Shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar Cheese
  • 4 Flaxseed Flour Flatbreads

Instructions

  • Prepare the Chicken:
    • Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
    • Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and your choice of spices.
    • Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F/74°C).
    • Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before slicing it into thin strips.
  • Assemble the Wrap:
    • Lay one piece of flatbread on a clean surface.
    • Place a leaf of lettuce in the center of the flatbread.
    • Evenly sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheese over the lettuce.
    • Add a few slices of grilled chicken on top of the cheese.
  • Wrap the Ingredients:
    • Fold in the sides of the flatbread, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top.
    • Slice the wrap in half diagonally for easy serving.
  • Serve:
    • Enjoy the wrap as is, or serve with your favorite dressing such as Avocado Ranch Lime, Caesar, or Honey Mustard.

Notes

  • Substitutions: Feel free to substitute the grilled chicken with grilled tofu or a plant-based chicken alternative for a vegetarian version. Use whole wheat, gluten-free, or spinach wraps if flaxseed flour flatbread is not available.
  • Meal Prep: These wraps can be prepared in advance and stored in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. For best results, store the dressing separately and add it just before eating.
  • Variations: Customize the wrap by adding additional vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers, or bell peppers. You can also try different cheeses or dressings to change up the flavor.
