  • Author: Christine

Description

Mozzarella Biscuit Bombs are delightful, bite-sized treats that combine the comforting texture of flaky biscuit dough with the rich, melty center of mozzarella cheese. These savory bombs are perfect as appetizers, snacks, or party foods and can be easily customized with various fillings and seasonings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can (16.3 ounces) refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 8 small cubes of mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Grated Parmesan cheese, for sprinkling
  • Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)
  • Marinara sauce, for dipping (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a baking sheet or line it with parchment paper.
  2. Separate the biscuit dough into 8 biscuits and flatten each slightly.
  3. Place a cube of mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit, wrap the dough around the cheese, and seal tightly.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, oregano, basil, garlic powder, and salt.
  5. Dip each stuffed biscuit into the garlic butter mixture, ensuring an even coat.
  6. Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Allow to cool slightly before garnishing with parsley, if using. Serve warm with marinara sauce for dipping.

Notes

For the best results, ensure that the biscuit dough is tightly sealed around the cheese to prevent any leakage during baking. Feel free to experiment with different cheeses, herbs, and additional fillings to create your unique version of this recipe. Serve warm with your favorite dipping sauce for maximum enjoyment.
