This Honey BBQ Chicken and Rice is a perfect balance of sweet and smoky flavors. Tender chicken bites are smothered in a sticky honey BBQ glaze and served over fluffy rice for a meal that’s comforting, satisfying, and incredibly easy to throw together.
Ingredients

1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breasts or thighs, cut into bite-size pieces

1 cup BBQ sauce (your favorite brand)

¼ cup honey

1 tbsp soy sauce (optional for extra depth)

Instructions
1️⃣ Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Season chicken with salt and pepper. Add to the skillet and cook until browned and fully cooked, about 6–8 minutes.
2️⃣ Make the sauce: In a bowl, mix BBQ sauce, honey, and soy sauce. Pour over the cooked chicken in the skillet. Stir to coat and simmer for 3–4 minutes until thick and bubbly.
3️⃣ Assemble the dish: Spoon cooked rice into bowls or plates. Top with honey BBQ chicken and a sprinkle of cheddar cheese if using.
4️⃣ Garnish and serve: Finish with chopped green onions or parsley and serve hot.
