This delicious 15-minute flavorful lo mein is a fantastic dish that's sure to impress. Made with dry egg noodles (or fresh lo mein noodles), 2 carrots, and 1/4 yellow onion, it combines great flavors and textures for a memorable meal.

Ingredients
  

  • 8 oz Dry Egg Noodles (or fresh lo mein noodles)
  • 2 Carrots, sliced
  • 1/4 Yellow Onion, sliced
  • 3 cups Cabbage, thinly sliced (about 1/4 of a large cabbage)
  • 3 Garlic Cloves, diced
  • 1 bunch Green Onion (green parts only)
  • 2 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar (or regular sugar)
  • 1 tbsp Water
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil
  • 1 tbsp Corn Starch
  • 1/4 tsp White Pepper
  • 1 tbsp Oyster Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large pan, sauté the sliced carrots, onion, cabbage, and diced garlic until they are tender.
  • In a small bowl, combine all the sauce ingredients and mix well.
  • Add the cooked noodles, green onions, and sauce to the pan with the sautéed vegetables. Toss everything together to combine and heat through.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your delicious lo mein!
