- 2 chicken breasts, cut into chunks
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp butter
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 tbsp sweet paprika
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1 tbsp tomato paste
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- Salt & black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped
- 2 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Salt
Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F). Toss the potato fries with olive oil and salt, then bake for 25–30 minutes until they are golden and crispy.
Meanwhile, heat the olive oil and butter in a pan, and sauté the onion and garlic until they are soft.
Stir in both sweet and smoked paprikas along with the tomato paste, cooking briefly.
Add the chicken chunks to the pan and sear until they are lightly browned.
Pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, season with salt and black pepper, and let it simmer until the chicken is cooked through and the sauce thickens.
Serve the creamy paprika chicken hot over the golden fries and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
