Ingredients

  • 2 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Begin by cutting the chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and seasoning them thoroughly with salt and pepper to enhance their flavor.
  • In a large skillet, warm the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken pieces and cook until they become golden brown, which should take about 5-7 minutes. Once cooked, remove the chicken from the skillet and set it aside.
  • Using the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sauté it for approximately 1 minute until it becomes fragrant.
  • Pour the chicken broth into the skillet and bring the mixture to a boil. Then, add the egg noodles, stirring gently to ensure they are fully immersed in the broth.
  • Allow the noodles to cook for about 7-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they reach an al dente texture.
  • Add the previously cooked chicken back into the skillet.
  • Reduce the heat and mix in the heavy cream and Parmesan cheese. Continue stirring until everything is well combined and creamy.
  • Taste the dish and adjust the seasoning as necessary. Once done, remove it from heat and garnish with the chopped parsley before serving.
